ADVANTAGES OF SMOKE-RICH

The dark coloration of the smoked oak makes it less sensitive to sunlight, so that even after 100 years it still shines in brilliant dark colors. This makes it extremely robust against environmental influences. The attractive dark coloring of the oak wood makes it a popular choice for smoking. The high tannin content causes the more intensive color change. Depending on the duration of the smoking process, the color of the oak wood can change from light brown to very dark brown, while many other woods only become darker by a few nuances. Each piece of wood is therefore unique and reacts differently to the smoking process depending on the tannin content. In addition, there is the sustainability factor of the smoked oak. Due to the use of local woods, the Räu-chereiche has a good environmental balance. It therefore offers a real alternative to tropical wood, as the smoked oak is just as visually appealing and just as resistant and durable. Katzer or other small damage in the surface is not noticeable, since the color below the first layer of wood is the same as that of the surface. Allergy sufferers also benefit from the use of the smoked oak, as the wood is resistant to fungi and insects due to the treatment.
